Student Life

Our students are constantly looking for different ways to get involved with school life and contribute to both their school and local community – many of them stepping up to positions of responsibility within and beyond the school.

These responsibilities range from being a House Captain or Student Learning Consultant, Peer Mentor or Anti Bullying Ambassador, School Librarian, or taking on a key role as part of the school’s thriving Student Parliament.

Many students also participate in the many and varied programme of extracurricular activities ranging from STEM Club to the annual school musical, the weekly Chess Club, an array of sporting and artistic clubs and activities to name a few.

Every term the school involves hundreds of students in special projects and events; these include the annual Christmas Shoebox Appeal, Mistletoe Day (the school’s autumn term fundraising day), Children in Need, Comic Relief, European visits and projects such as the music based Comenius project.
