Key Stage 3

In Year 7 the students will study 6 topics, all designed to teach them the skills needed to be successful within Geography. The year starts with the cross-curricular topic of Myself and My Community, which focuses on map skills.

In Year 8 the students start the year with Globalisation, with a focus on the concept of global companies, brands and communication.

In Year 9 we prepare the students for the GCSE options process and try to give them a taste of the GCSE course. We start the year looking at natural hazards, development and industry.
